Nokia
launches N8800, a phone
"Designed for the Senses" and is positioned as a masterpiece.
To
speak to the right crowd, Nokia together with Zenith, scores
a first by being the first advertiser to obtain the poster
space on Tangs Building, facing Wisma.
To showcase the sleek and luxurious design, Nokia did an outdoor
creative buy with 5 sheet poster and sticker buy. The sticker
was made up of reflective
material, displaying the reflective stainless steel body. The
creative buy offers a side profile, displaying the specially
crafted
slide and also the fluidity of the phone.
There
had been positive comments from the public.
The
outdoor campaign runs until October. |

SPH
is raising advertising rates by 3%
due mainly to increase
in newsprint prices.
The increment is fairly selective. It is borne by the 3 most popular
newspapers:
Straits
Times,
in their Thurs to Sun editions; the Shin Min and Lian He Wan Bao.
The increment for Straits Times only takes effect after the christmas advertising
season,
giving
a breather to advertisers. For Shin Min and Lian
He Wan Bao, the increment happens from November onwards.

In
a bid to increase listenership, Safra launches "Mars vs
Venus" on Power 98 and "8-in-a-row" on Dongli
88.3.
"Mars
vs Venus" will be a battle of the sexes and for advertisers
who sponsors it, their logos will appear in the SMRT ads at
Raffles place.
"8-in-a-row" is
a contest to test listener's knowledge on music.
This
is a refreshing way of engaging young listeners, and could
drive further listenership for the stations. |
