Adding on to Zenithmedia, Optimedia and Equinoxs' multiple award wins and nominations, Nokia bags "Best Technology Campaign" and Sony
wins "Best Use of Sponsorship" awards at the Casbaa (Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia) event.

Nokia capitalised on Discovery Channel's "First Time FilmMakers" competition to launch its 'N' series - a range of mobile phones that can capture quality video footages. Nokia brought out the properties of its product by designing a "First Time Mobile Filmmakers" award. This cutting edge idea drew many entries and raised the profile of the 'N' series significantly.

Sony partnered with National Geographic to create an integrated campaign around "ShowReal Asia" which showcased top asian documentaries. To raise the profile of Sony's DVD Handycam series, Sony crafted a “Shoot, Burn, Share” contest where Asian video and photo enthusiasts showed forth their works. Sony also pioneered on- ground events such as documentary filmmaking workshops. These integrated activities brought Sony closer to their target consumers.

Nokia and Sony have displayed powerful examples of integrated campaigns which were indeed stunning.

A brand new Arabic edition of BusinessWeek hits newstands in
22 Arab countries this October.

It will be published on a monthly basis and will include articles from all three editions of BusinessWeek, as well as local content covering the Arabic speaking world.

The magazine is also distributed to subscribers of Al-Eqtisadiah, Saudi Arabia's daily business and economic newspaper.

This new move will definitely increase BusinessWeek's global position, staking a hold in the growing Arab world.

November onwards, IHT adds on to its Atlantic Edition a Bloomberg business section. For IHT readers, this translates to a doubling of business coverage.

"Marketplace by Bloomberg" is poised to provide a broader business perspective. It will act as a financial complement to IHT's business reporting and coverage of geopolitics, culture and society.

By expanding its business section, IHT will definitely keep and attract more readers.
